CHALLENGES FACED

My designs and website were not without challenges.

  1. While creating my cover page, the more pictures I used, the more the Canva app became slow and stuck. This set me back on time, also saving images took time, as loading was sometimes an hour-long wait.

  2. Adding wildlife, (and that too tiny insects) was not a walk in the park because they are unpredictable. Sometimes I would be in position, for the money shot, but then the subject would either fly away or change position.

  3. It was a race against time to get flowers and my inspiration called for a lot of them. To find a variety of flowers and leaves was a difficult task that required going out daily and that too when the lighting was in my favour. The use of natural lighting was best.

  4. Finding the right flowers took time and I had to be constantly on the lookout for wherever  there could be insects or flowers. My eyes had to be all over the place and I was capturing flowers, bugs, etc down to the very last minute.

  5. All the pictures were from my phones. A problem I encountered when I was out in the sun, was that one of my phones heated up and started getting stuck. This caused me to have too keep on swapping between phones which wasted my time.

  6. Making the contents page, I had to find certain patterns from fallen flowers or unique shots to put in the frames in order to make it eye catching as though it was unique, it was a simple design.
